  • Zeks Horde
Lovely translucent red marble and 180g vinyl, a wonderful album from Metallica. Fat sound, full of detail and hardhitters. A nice return to form for the kings of thrash metal.
  • Mallador
The only reason i say this is because Metallica started before Megadeth...
  • Ann
I must inform you that the kings of thrash are MEGADETH...
  • one life
Limited to 15000(!) this is so ridiculous! ... .... ....
  • Timberahue
Considering how many albums they sell, or how many copies of each album in any version, it's not thaaaat much. They could have put out the album on cassette too with a 5000pcs. limitation and it would have sold out very quickly.
  • Mr.jeka
As I bought the Metallica - Hardwired..., I got from my record store a Metallica sticker, six badges and a helloween mask too. Are these pieces integrate part of the special edition? Did anybody knows something about this?
  • Olma
They begin with a nice thrash/speed song & they end with just one more thrash/speed song (like GRIP INC which is the best song of the album). The other songs on this album are fillers (for one more time). Pure Metallica fans are over 40-45 years old & they grew up with them (Kill Em All / Ride the Lightning / Master of Puppets / ...And Justice for all). Mr Hetfield & Mr Ulrich respect your older fans. Don't forget why you took the instruments & play some decades ago. Except if you cannot thrash anymore! But i have to say that this time "touched" their original sound, better than any other time. When i say "original sound" i mean MASTER OF PUPPETS. A little bit more & we would have a reborn. 15.000 copies for RSD (Reseller Store Day)....for the 'collectors-resellers' Check here: http://www.recordstoreday.com/UPC/858978005325 10/10 for the sound / sound engineering / mastering! $Cheers$
  • Kegal
Two different red vinyls from Europe..? I've been looking "everywhere", but can't find more than one.https://www.discogs.com/Metallica-HardwiredTo-Self-Destruct/release/9359830
  • Balladolbine
2500 seems very low. Saw many copies in my local stores. I'd say 10'000 or more copies. Lots of websites have it for sale too
  • Talrajas
It's a exclusive pressing for the Black Friday Record Store Day next Friday 25.11.16.According to this website 5000 copies worldwide are available (http://www.lostinvinyl.org/shop/metallica-hardwiredto-self-destruct-limited-coloured-vinyl-2lp-pre-order-release-date-18th-november). Not sure if it is a good source. Maybe someone has others.
  • Gholbirdred
Good source? I'd say no. They say it's exclusive to UK stores, but I ordered mine from a Swedish/Scandinavian store. It seems to be available in several (major) stores over here as well. I personally can't find any info on how many copies there are though, apart from your link that is.
  • Haal
I thought it was 15 000? That's what I've heard.
  • Whiteflame
How many copies are there of this pressing? There should be only in select shops.
  • Wen
There are 2,500 copies Worldwide of the RSD Black Friday Version.
  • Ferne
Therefore, a very large circulation if I take 300 x the participating countries.
  • Cala
Lexx604 How many copies are there of this pressing? There should be only in select shops. For the Netherlands 300 copies only, selected shops only indeed.
  • Thoginn
Can anybody confirm that the red version you can buy on nuclearblast.com comes with the RSD sticker?
  • AnnyMars
Alright, the red LP from emp is translucent and marbeled, just like the red LP from the deluxe box. Made in EU. Also comes with the red RSD sticker.
  • Vonalij
I pre-ordered the red version from emp.de, should arrive today. I will let you know what that one looks like. Didn't know there would be different red versions.
  • SadLendy
Ah, okay. Yes, exactly. And the LP comes inclusive a big Poster.
  • Thordira
Sorry I ment the product number for the red Vinyl on nuclear blast is 255085.
  • Micelhorav
The what? Sorry for asking: But can you explain what you mean with the number 255085?
  • Buzalas
Okay so did you buy the 255085 on Nuclear Blast?
  • Yellow Judge
I bought mine at Nuclear Blast, and yes, it has a Record Store Day-Sticker. And, if this Version here is solid red, then it's another Version. My copy is marbled translucent red.
  • Karg
Seems next Record Store Day is a little bit early. But who cares. Why wait until April 2017? ;)
  • playboy
Black Friday RSD dude. Complete sell out if you ask me.
  • Buge
Maybe they meant Black Friday? They're still a week early, though.
